The term "science" is defined as "the investigation of natural phenomena through observation, theoretical explanation, and experimentation, or the knowledge produced by such investigation" by The American Heritage Science Dictionary. Science is a reference of a system that acquires knowledge based on observations, scientific method. There are two common classifications of science, natural science and social science. Natural science is a study natural things such as biology. Social Sciences are studies of societies and homosapiens behavior. Science must be able to be replicated by anyone and get the same results.
Pseudoscience may have a lot of the same characteristics of science, but is different in many ways. Examles of pseudoscience are palm reading, horoscopes, and the weather, ha ha just kidding. Pseudoscience is used for one's own ego or to gain support, theres not always a scientific method behind it. The term "pseudoscience" is defined as "a body of knowledge, methodology, belief, or practice that is claimed to be scientific or made to appear scientific, but does not adhere to the scientific method", by wikipedia.com. People just accept pseudoscience (examples above), nobody really tests the theory behind it. A "lack of progress in theory development", some ones words.
I believe that pseudoscience is for people that don't want to accept the cold hard truth of the world so they get themselves wraped up in what other "non-experts" say. Science on the other hand is for "geeks" people who always have to be right 100 percent of the time. Just because something such as palm reading cannot be proved doesn't make it false or not real. Science is for people who have trust issuses and always need something to be true or false.

Nice fin job Cam. That was awesome. Took you long enough :)
That was very informative and inticing. Nice conclusion too. Keep up the good work.

Nice camo, this post totally shows your personality. Preach It!
It does not even take the science/psuedoscience controversy to stir things up. Think about global warming. There are still people out there that beleive it is not true, or made up by the experts to fool people - and there is something with cold, hard scienctific facts, and they still do not beleive in it.
